This is a self reference about how to resize the pictures in the file manager:
nautilus --version
install one if it doesn’t exist
sudo apt install imagemagick sudo apt install nautilus-image-converter

How to enable screen lock in Ubuntu 18.10
Ubuntu disabled the shortcut to lock the screen, don’t know why. Here is a way to enable it: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.lockdown disable-lock-screen false then super+L to lock the screen.
