Firstly, I found there is a mode designed for Evernote.&nbsp; I do really like it, so I tried to run the mode on my Windows 7\/Emacs 23 environment.&nbsp; But unfortunately, it require w3m loaded first.&nbsp; Then the nightmare starts.&nbsp; After several days deep studying, now I know the way for Windows and Ubuntu now.&nbsp; Will check on Mac later.<\/p>\n<p>For ubuntu 10.10<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Install ubuntu 10.10 with default options\n<li>Install the following packages\n<ul>\n<li>emacs 23\n<li>w3m\n<li>cvs\n<li>autoconf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Get emacs-w3m mode by<br \/>cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.namazu.org:\/storage\/cvsroot co emacs-w3m\n<li>Enter the folder then:<br \/>autoconf<br \/>.\/configure<br \/>make<br \/>sudo make install\n<li>Then add the following to the .emacs<br \/>(add-to-list &#8216;load-path &#8220;\/usr\/hsare\/emacs\/site-lisp\/w3m&#8221;)<br \/>(require &#8216;w3m-load)<br \/>(require &#8216;w3m-e21)<br \/>(provide &#8216;w3m-e23)<br \/>(setq w3m-use-favicon nil)<br \/>(setq w3m-command-arguments &#8216;(&#8220;-cookie&#8221;
