In-laws want to have a dinner out and invited us. Mother-in-law doesn’t like any BBQ, sashimi, spicy or seafood; so the only option is Shanghainese food. We went to Xiao Nan Guo (little southern country), one of the most famous new style Shanghainese restaurant. We had eight dishes around $45 (RMB360).


圖一 糖藕,亦名糯米塞藕,15元,糯米極糯,藕也甜,若加桂花更好,推薦指數:6.5。


圖二 烤子魚,15元,此菜要做得極甜極脆再才吃,推薦指數:8。


圖三 紹興醉雞,25元,應該用收口的紫砂缽裝,結果用了迷你小砂鍋,上面幾塊還可以,下面淨是雞頭頸之類,味道衹能算將就,沒有醉意。推薦指數:5。


圖四 清炒河蝦仁,138元,還是覺得蝦仁太大,不夠正宗,蘇州的小河蝦仁四十元一盆,量還多些,味道更好。推薦指數:7。


圖五 蒜香骨,38元,味道不錯,極糯極酥,推薦指數:8。


圖六 肉末粉絲煲,20元,賣相一般,吃口一般,推薦指數:5。


圖六 干煎臭豆腐,10元,不咸不臭,辣糊也不對,推薦指數:2。


圖八 青菜面筋煲,18元,賣相不行,菜也是急火,顏色尚可,推薦指數:3。


圖九 蟹粉爛糊,48元,偏咸,蟹粉極少,糊全靠芡而來,推薦指數:3
